ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Ainsley Clifford and I am so glad you're here! I graduated in 2024 from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Journalism.
Throughout my time at Georgia Southern, I gained hands-on experience in sports media, most notably as a sideline reporter at GATA Productions, the ESPN+ broadcasting hub for Georgia Southern Athletics. I also had the opportunity to work as a sports intern at WTOC-TV in Savannah, where I expanded my skills both on-camera and behind the scenes. I shot and edited content that aired on local news, allowing me to hone my ability to create compelling stories in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Currently, I’m a volleyball analyst for ESPN, where I bring my passion for the sport and strong background in sports journalism to every broadcast. I focus on delivering insightful analysis, clear commentary, and a deep understanding of the game to viewers across the network.

I’ve had a deep love for sports for as long as I can remember, and volleyball has been a part of my life since I was 8 years old. That passion led me to the incredible opportunity of playing Division I volleyball at Georgia Southern University. By the time I reached my freshman year of high school, I knew I wanted to turn my love for sports into a career - and I’ve been chasing that dream ever since.

Being a student-athlete requires hard work, sacrifice, and steadfast dedication. We are challenged every single day to push ourselves in the classroom and on the court. I am so grateful that I was able to experience what it means to be a student-athlete, and there is nothing that I love more than getting to tell the stories of the incredible athletes I have covered in my career.
