ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Ainsley Clifford and I am so glad you're here! I recently graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science in Multimedia Journalism.
Throughout my time at Georgia Southern, I gained hands-on experience in sports media, most notably as a sideline reporter at GATA Productions, the ESPN+ broadcasting hub for Georgia Southern Athletics. In this role, I prepared for games by reviewing stats, interviewing coaches, and identifying compelling storylines to bring to life on air.

I also had the opportunity to work as a sports intern at WTOC-TV in Savannah, where I expanded my skills both on-camera and behind the scenes. I shot and edited content that aired on local news, allowing me to hone my ability to create compelling stories in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

I have a deep love and passion for sports, and have played volleyball since I was 8 years old. I was blessed with the opportunity to play Division 1 volleyball at Georgia Southern. By the time I was a freshman in high school, I knew I wanted to work in sports.

Being a student-athlete requires hard work, sacrifice, and steadfast dedication. We are challenged every single day to push ourselves in the classroom and on the court. I am so grateful that I was able to experience what it means to be a student-athlete, and there is nothing that I love more than getting to tell the stories of the incredible athletes I have covered in my career.
